We were here early. Service was great. Bartender made great drinks. The other folks at the bar were good folks. The vibe was clean industrial and the pool table was level. Just a nice bar with good vibes.
It was a cold Friday evening. After a delicious meal nearby, we decided to go here for a cocktail. I got a bourbon vermouth cocktail and the Mrs got a mocktail. Both were extremely delicious. This place has a nice little vibe. Plenty of seating and a little game area. Also some outdoor seating which is great for warmer weather. Inside it was very cold, that was the only downside. But I’d go back for sure.
Alex and Sean took care of us last night and are honestly some of the nicest bartenders my bf and I have had in DT Raleigh. They were very attentive and super friendly and never appeared bothered when my boyfriend kept engaging them in conversation (as he typically will do) when they were busy. I really appreciated the combined professionalism and amiableness. Best bar on Person Street by far.
A neighborhood favorite. Great staff; low turnover... a key to developing local loyalty. I always feel welcome here and look forward to seeing the staff and the regulars. Lots of community spirit here. Charity events are common. A great bunch of people. And some great artwork and a ever changing selection of beers and specialty cocktails. Great prices and consistency. I'm loyal.
They have a bar cat (: that was the main reason I liked person street bar, I mean the service was awesome & the drinks were great so there’s plenty of reasons to like the place. I just thought it was so cute that they take care of a random cat :D so basically I’m going to be a regular there now.
The overall feel of this bar in Raleigh is very vibrant! They have a pool table that you can use. (Yes it takes quarters). They have a decent selection of drinks to choose from. Sitting ranges from bar chairs to a few tables. Clean restrooms and a super friendly staff. I honestly did not do this place justice in this review or in the one photo I took. If your in the area I highly recommend you check them out.
Loved this place! The bartenders were awesome. Every drink we tried (which was a lot)was delicious. It is a spacious area with a patio in the back. The bathrooms needed some attention, but I told the bartender and they immediately were on it. 10/10 I do recommend!
Coolest bar in Raleigh. Good outside spots to sit and never a long wait for the pool table. Bartenders are awesome.
